A retroverted uterus, also known as a tipped or tilted womb, occurs when the uterus tilts backwards towards the spine. However it is estimated that up to 20% of women have a backwards-tilting uterus. A retroverted uterus is not believed to affect a woman's fertility. In most cases, a retroverted uterus doesn't interfere with pregnancy. A Continuing Medical Education (CME) was arranged by department of Obs. & Gynae, Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital (DjMCH) on the topic of "Retroverted Uterus" where Dr. Zuberia Farzana Kumkum presented the topic in front of 52 doctors.
