Ecoren® T cream is a combined preparation of Econazole Nitrate and Triamcinolone Acetonide. Econazole is an imidazole antifungal agent. It is a broad spectrum antimycotic preparation with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and anti-allergic effects.
No Data
Ecoren® T cream is indicated for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory dermatomycoses with Econazole sensitive mycotic and/or bacterial superinfections.
Ecoren® T cream should be applied to the affected skin area in the morning and in the evening and rub in gently.
Do not use occlusive dressing. Like with other steroidal preparations, the treatment with Ecoren® T cream should, if possible, be limited to 3-4 weeks.
There is no information of any abnormality or adverse event in neonates while Ecoren ® T cream had been used during pregnancy. As the systemic absorption of Econazole Nitrate cream is extremely low after topical use, excretion in breast is likely to be negligible. So it can be used topically/vaginally during lactation if needed.
Hypersensitivity has rarely been recorded. If something like this occurs, administration of this product should be discontinued. The infected area should be kept clean and dry during treatment.
Warning
Avoid prolonged applications to the skin and to the face.
Econazole Nitrate and Triamcinolone Acetonide combination is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Topical corticosteroids preparations are contra-indicated in the treatment of herpes simplex, vaccine or varicella.
Warning
Avoid prolonged applications to the skin and to the face.
